The servicemen of the tank division of the Vostok group of forces, who took part in the liberation of the village of Volnoye Pole in the south Donetsk direction, shared the details of their combat work. The relevant footage was provided by the Russian Ministry of Defense on June 10.

"For the most part, we supported infantry, directly closed firing positions, and ensured their advance. How it happens: a stormtrooper goes and meets resistance — there is a specific house, a specific basement. <...> We are demolishing this house and basement, and we are completely slowing down this resistance," said the battalion commander with the call sign Altai.

He noted that his tank unit is developing and improving. Already, Russian military personnel have developed tactics that can hide a tank from the enemy's eyes right in front of his nose.

On May 16, the Russian Ministry of Defense released footage of combat operations during the liberation of the village of Volnoye Pole in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) by military personnel of the Vostok group of forces. The ministry noted that the Russian army hit firing points and observation posts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) using attack drones.
