The section of Yubileynaya Street in Pskov will be expanded to six lanes

Pskov plans to expand the section of Yubileynaya Street adjacent to Narodnaya and Margelova streets. This was announced by the head of the city Boris Yelkin at a meeting of the city commission for road safety.

According to him, the Jubilee section will be expanded to six lanes. An additional traffic light section will appear to turn left onto Narodnaya Street. The option of installing a traffic light at the intersection of Jubilee and Krasnoarmeyskaya is also being considered.

According to the Pskov news feed, the unregulated pedestrian crossing through Krasnoarmeyskaya along Yubileynaya Street will not be postponed. Previously, it was planned to place it closer to house No. 51 to ensure pedestrian safety.

It is known that employees of the MCU "Specialized Customer" are already preparing estimates for future work, after which the "two lanes plus four offset" scheme will begin operating on Yubileynaya Street before the intersection with Narodnaya.

Earlier it was reported that in the Pskov region, by December 2026, they plan to overhaul the bridge over the Nakkuvitsa River in the Velikiye Luki district. The bridge will be closed for the duration of the work, and a temporary ferry will be built across the river.
