Putin spoke about the daily reports on the situation at the front
Russian President Vladimir Putin said on May 25 that he receives reports on the situation at the front every day, in the afternoon and late at night.
"That's my job today. I do receive reports during the day and late at night, because by this time information is being collected from the entire line of contact," Putin told journalist Pavel Zarubin.
The Russian leader also said that on one of the sectors of the front, Russian fighters are rushing to complete a combat mission. However, due to the weather conditions, this cannot be done, as it may lead to heavy losses.
"The Chief of the General Staff and I have given direct instructions to the division commander to refrain from implementing these plans, as they have a whole internal tragedy. They are eager to fight," the Russian president summed up.
On May 4, in an interview for the documentary "Russia. Kremlin. Putin. 25 years ago," the Russian leader noted that the Russian Federation had not launched a special military operation earlier because it wanted to peacefully resolve the problem of Donbass and was not ready for a frontal confrontation with the collective West.
