A suspect in the preparation of a terrorist attack against a military man was detained in the Moscow region.

In the Moscow Region, the Federal Security Service (FSB) has detained a man suspected of preparing a terrorist attack against an employee of the Russian Defense Ministry. This became known to Izvestia on April 30.

It is specified that the defendant had been following an employee of the Russian Ministry of Defense in Korolev for several weeks to commit a terrorist act. However, his plan failed because the attacker was detained.

In addition, it is noted that at the moment the detained man is testifying.

On the same day, law enforcement officers detained three agents of the Ukrainian special services who were preparing an assassination attempt in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug (Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug) on a soldier of a volunteer battalion participating in a special operation to protect Donbass. The Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case against the Ukrainian agents.
