Forecaster predicted heavy rains in Moscow on May 1
Heavy rains are expected in Moscow on May 1, more than 38% of the monthly precipitation rate will fall. This was announced on April 30 by Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos Weather Center.
"On the first of May, the weather will be non-flying. If there is no precipitation at night with an air temperature in Moscow from 0 to +3, in the Moscow region from -1 to +4, then dense clouds will cover the sky at dawn, heavy rains of high intensity will begin with the greatest amount in the afternoon and especially in the evening," he wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to the forecaster, rain and sleet are possible in the morning in the north of the Moscow region. The wind will be south-easterly with a speed of 4-9 m/s.
During the day, the temperature in Moscow will not exceed +10 degrees, and in the Moscow region it will rise to +11.
Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, announced on April 29 that the temperature in Moscow would be below normal during the May holidays. Besides, the next three days will be windy.
