- A resident of the Kursk region told about the robberies of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the export of property to Ukraine
Militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) robbed residents of the Kursk region and took their property to Ukrainian territory. This was announced on April 21 by Mikhail Zapisnoy, a resident of Leonidovka.
According to him, the militants found his hidden Chevrolet Niva car and seized the vehicle. He clarified that the military demanded the keys to the car and threatened him with a grenade.
"The car disappeared without a trace. My friend is Sergey Dmitrievich Nesterenko, who lives there, in the village of Leonidovo. He has a Duster car. Drunken "comrades" came to him, apparently from Western Ukraine. Threatening his wife with a machine gun, they shot her near her feet in a burst. They told her: "Give me the keys or we'll shoot you!" And a queue passed under her feet. The screaming started, the tears. Well, Sergei took out the keys and gave them to them. They started it up and left," Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador—at-Large Rodion Miroshnik said in a statement.
Zapisnoy also shared that there was a Turk in the region who had a car "not on the move." He clarified that the Ukrainian military had snagged the vehicle and taken it away. Across from his friend Sergei, there were Azerbaijanis who "lived richly," kept pets, and owned a store in Sudzha. Zapisnoy clarified that for three to four days, representatives of Ukrainian formations drove up to the outlet and committed a robbery, after which they set fire to the building with an incendiary grenade.
Vasily Manuilo, a resident of Sudzha, in turn, shared that he lived in the territory where the gunners were mainly located. According to him, since August 6, 2024, he does not remember "not a minute, not an hour of no light" and the absence of shooting. He added that the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants also shot local residents for "inconvenient" questions.
"I don't remember their last names, but I'll tell you their nicknames. Misha "Sila" and Kolya "Margelya". One is in his late 50s, the other is over 50. And they began to look for the truth [from the AFU militants].: "Why did you come to us? We didn't invite you, we didn't expect you." And they were shot," he clarified.
Manuilo also shared the case when the owners released eight of their horses, and they themselves left. As a result, a militant of the Ukrainian formations shot the animals.
On April 16, captured AFU militant Sergei Kosyak shared how the bodies of civilians with signs of torture and bound hands were found in basements in the Kursk region. In addition, he said that instead of the anthem of Ukraine in the classroom, they were forced to learn the prayer of the national battalion "Azov" (a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation).
