A twenty-year-old resident of the Amur region will be convicted of distributing drugs on an especially large scale. This was announced on April 18 by the press service of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in the Telegram channel.

It is reported that in September 2024, the suspect received a message with an offer of illegal work, to which he agreed. He was promised large payments in cryptocurrency for the distribution of prohibited substances.

"The first place that the guy visited in the role of a drug courier was the Krasnoyarsk island. Tatyshev. There, in an atmosphere of an active and healthy lifestyle, he emptied the first "hiding place" and distributed its contents throughout the city," the department said.

The suspect also distributed drugs in the Amur and Irkutsk regions. He was soon caught, and law enforcement officers found 3.7 kg of substances banned in the Russian Federation in the guy's possession. In total, he managed to make 67 "bookmarks" during his entire career.

"The prosecutor's office has approved charges against him of attempted sale of narcotic drugs on an especially large scale (part 3 of art. 30, paragraphs "a, d" of Part 4 of art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)," the law enforcement officers said.

A suspect can face up to 15 years in prison for crimes committed.

On April 15, employees of the Office of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of the Russian Federation for the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) stopped the activities of a criminal group that was involved in organizing a supply channel for narcotic drugs in the region. The suspects were coordinated from Ukrainian territory. Currently, the FSB has detained eight defendants. It is noted that more than 23 kg of synthetic drugs were found in their homes.
