A workshop for the production of boats made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is on fire in Ufa, Bashkortostan. This was announced on April 17 by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
"Previously, the fire area is 400 square meters. m. There was no information about the victims," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.
It is specified that about 40 employees and 10 pieces of equipment are involved in the liquidation.
Earlier in the day, a transformer substation caught fire in the south of Moscow. According to preliminary estimates, the fire area was 20 square meters. m. There is also a risk of fire spreading to the neighboring building — the main building of the thermal power plant (CHP).
