The State Duma proposed calculating the expenses of officials using AI
Artificial intelligence (AI) will soon be able to calculate the expenses of officials. This was announced on March 19 by Sardana Avksentieva, a deputy of the State Duma from the New People party.
"The tool is working. I think, closer to the end of April, we will be able to provide it to every mayor who wants to get such an assistant," she shared at the celebration of the fifth anniversary of the party.
AI will also be able to reduce budget spending and schedule meetings.
First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Sergey Kiriyenko conveyed congratulations from Head of state Vladimir Putin to the "New People".
"There are 580 deputies from the New People party in legislative assemblies, city councils, and municipal authorities. A really established network of regional offices in almost all regions of our large country," he stressed.
Currently, 357 bills proposed by the party are already working, and Vladislav Davankov, deputy speaker of the State Duma from the New People, showed a result of almost 4% in the last presidential election, ahead of the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party.

New People is a centrist party founded by Alexei Nechaev in 2020. In the same year, following the results of the regional elections, the political force passed to four regional legislative bodies on party lists, and after that became the fifth parliamentary party.
