Military groups of troops "Center" eliminated more than 495 militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a day.

Over the past day, Russian military personnel of the Center group of forces have killed over 495 militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in their area of responsibility. This was announced on March 15 by the head of the press center of the Central Group of Forces, Alexander Savchuk.

"The formations of three mechanized, jaeger, assault brigades, a marine brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and two National Guard brigades were defeated in the area of Udachny, Dimitrov, Shevchenko, Ulyanovsk, Sridny, Novopavlovka, Krasnoarmeysk and Uspenovka. The enemy lost more than 495 soldiers," he said in an interview with TASS.

Savchuk clarified that the military personnel of the Center group of forces also managed to advance deep into the enemy's defenses. According to him, the Ukrainian army lost a tank, three armored combat vehicles, three artillery pieces, two electronic warfare (EW) stations and 10 vehicles.

On the same day, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that military personnel of the 152-millimeter towed Hyacinth-B cannon of the Center group of forces destroyed a fortified stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Red Army area of the special operation.
