Corruption in the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has reached an unprecedented level. This was reported by the American leader Donald Trump on February 7.

"The decision on USAID drives the radical left crazy, but they can do nothing because the way the money was distributed, as well as such a huge amount of fraud can not be explained in any way. Corruption has reached unprecedented proportions," he wrote on Truth Social.

On January 20, Trump's executive order suspending Washington's development aid to other countries for 90 days was published on the White House website. Later, on January 25, Reuters reported that USAID froze programs to support foreign countries, including Ukraine, following a State Department dispatch approved by Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

On February 3, Ilon Musk, an American entrepreneur and head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), announced the launch of the process to liquidate USAID. USAID's budget has already been frozen and employees have been furloughed.

Trump claimed that USAID was run by "radical lunatics" and now his administration is getting rid of them. Musk called USAID a criminal organization that should cease to exist, adding that the agency is a "snake's nest of radical left-wing Marxists who hate America."

The head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, reported that the agency tried to infiltrate the Crimean parliament under the guise of an information center until 2014. The Russian State Duma called the USAID organization a criminal network. Australian political analyst Mark Lowe said that USAID was used in the USA for coups d'é tat in other countries.
