On the Internet, under the guise of free AI services that allegedly select haircuts, hairstyles and makeup, scammers distribute malicious software with which they can gain remote access to the phone. This is evidenced by the materials of the prosecutor's office, which were reviewed by RIA Novosti on November 5.

It is clarified that the scammers offer to download the application via the link. In fact, this is a malicious program. After installing it, attackers gain remote access to the device and can steal money.

The prosecutor's office advised to use only official services and not to follow suspicious links. It is also recommended to install protection on the phone. The department reminded: unknown persons should not be given SMS codes, passwords and card data, and if they are suspicious, they should contact the police.

On November 2, the press service of the Moshelovka platform of the Popular Front noted that fraudsters began using a scheme to deceive Russians, offering to return the allegedly overpaid money for heating. Scammers contact citizens by phone, posing as employees of public utilities. During the conversation, they report an alleged error in the billing system for heat supply, which allegedly caused the subscribers to overpay.
