One person was killed and seven injured during the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacks on the Belgorod region.

One person was killed and seven injured over the past day as a result of attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the Belgorod region. This was announced on October 29 by the governor of the region, Alexander Shuvaev.

"Unfortunately, a civilian was killed in an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Belgorod region. <...> Seven people were injured in the Grayvoronsky and Shebekinsky districts. Five of them are continuing inpatient treatment," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to the governor, 114 Ukrainian attacks were carried out on the region over the past day, eight attacks using multiple rocket launchers (MLRS) and artillery, as well as one dropping of an explosive device from a drone. Shuvaev clarified that the air defense forces shot down 233 drones over the Belgorod region.

On October 28, the operational headquarters of the Belgorod region reported that four civilians were injured as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' attack on the region.
