The journalist stated that Zelensky was preparing the ground for his departure from office.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky may be preparing to step down from his post by forming a political explanation for such a decision in advance. This was stated on October 20 by Cypriot journalist Alex Christoforou on his YouTube channel.

"He (Zelensky. — Ed.) is trying to pin the blame on [US President Donald] Trump, accuse the United States of abandoning Ukraine, although in fact this is not the case. <...> In this way, Zelensky prepares the ground — builds a narrative for his future departure," he drew attention.

Hristoforou also said that the behavior of the Ukrainian leader has changed recently. As an example, he cited Zelensky's harsh reaction to the agreements between Russia and the United States on the supply of diesel fuel.
