General Alekseev spoke about the treatment at the FNCC RR after the assassination attempt

On October 16, the first Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Army, Lieutenant General Vladimir Alekseev, said that after being injured, he was treated at the Federal Scientific and Clinical Center for Intensive Care and Rehabilitation (FNCC RR), where doctors managed to save his life.

"It's also nice that I was also saved at the center, being wounded, I was treated by you," he said at the opening of the XXVIII All—Russian conference "Life Support in Critical conditions," TASS quoted him as saying.

Alekseev thanked the specialists of the institution for their assistance and noted their contribution to the rescue of Russian servicemen who were injured during a special military operation. During the work, the staff of the center provided assistance to 15 thousand participants of the SVO who were in critical condition.

The assassination attempt on Alekseev took place on February 6 in Moscow. The general was hospitalized. The next day, February 7, Alekseev regained consciousness. A criminal case has been opened into the incident. In addition, the Moscow Prosecutor's Office took control of the investigation of the case under articles on attempted murder and illegal trafficking of firearms. Later, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported that an article on encroachment on the life of a military man had been added to the case.

The participants in the assassination attempt, Lubomir Korba and Viktor Vasin, pleaded guilty to the crime on February 9. The next day, it became known about the detention of the third person involved, Pavel Vasin. According to the FSB of the Russian Federation, Korba was trained at a shooting range in Kiev. He was recruited by the SBU with the assistance of Poland. Another suspect, Zinaida Serebritskaya, managed to leave Russia. All four were included in the list of terrorists and extremists.
