The Yemeni Ansar Allah movement (Houthis) is deliberately trying to inflate global oil prices before the American elections with regular attacks on Saudi Arabia.. About this on October 13 said US President Donald Trump.

"They are behaving extremely badly: they are attacking Saudi Arabia and deliberately trying to inflate oil prices, possibly ahead of the US elections. This is no good," the American leader emphasized in a post on his page on the Truth Social network.

According to Trump, the group is acting on the direct instructions of Iran, whose economy he described as the worst in the world with an inflation rate of 301%. Trump recalled the destruction of the radicals' positions a year ago and explained that Middle Eastern forces should be aware of the inevitability of responsibility, since the American administration does not go anywhere after the end of the electoral cycle and will not leave attempts to destabilize the energy market without a harsh reaction.

Yahya Sariah, the military representative of the Ansar Allah movement, said on October 12 that the rebels had launched a ballistic missile attack on Riyadh International Airport. He also reiterated his call on international airlines and travelers to refrain from flying to Saudi Arabia's airports, saying they were unsafe.
