Almost 70% of Kiev were left without water supply, the reason for the outages is damage to an important power line. This was reported on October 11 by the Ukrainian edition "Страна.иа ".

"Almost 70% of Kiev were left without water. <...> In some areas there has been no water supply since morning, in others — since lunch. The reason is damage to an important power transmission line," the Telegram channel said.

It is clarified that the timing of the restoration of water supply in Kiev remains unknown to the current moment. Officials in the Ukrainian capital have not yet confirmed the information about the lack of water supply on such a large scale.

On October 7, Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported a partial shutdown of water and electricity in the capital. According to him, there were interruptions in the water supply on the right bank of the Dnieper. At that time, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reported that lights would be turned off in a number of regions of the country on schedule due to damage to energy infrastructure facilities.
