- The position on the Russian language blocked comedian Felix Radka's way to the stage in Lviv
A concert by comedian Felix Radka was canceled in Lviv due to his position on the Russian language. This was reported on October 7 by the newspaper "Страна.иа ".
"Taras Havunk, a teacher at the School of Public Administration at the Ukrainian Catholic University, was particularly outraged that the concert was to take place at the Dovzhenko Center municipal enterprise," the Telegram channel says.
Russian Russian allegedly criticized the thesis about the influence of the Russian language on Ukrainian identity, advocated the use of the Russian language in the education of children, and ridiculed the event to dismantle the monument to writer Mikhail Bulgakov.
After the incident, the Dovzhenko Center canceled the event. Radish, in turn, said that a similar situation had already happened to him in Lviv a year earlier. Then, according to the comedian, he was told about being included in a certain "list of banned artists."
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on September 30 that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and his entourage continue to use Russian in personal communication, despite official bans on the country's population.
Earlier, the diplomat had already drawn attention to cases of harassment of Ukrainian citizens for using their native language. So, on June 3 in Kiev, the coach of the children's sports section was fined 5.1 thousand hryvnias for communicating in Russian during classes. Zakharova urged teachers to ignore such sanctions, pointing out their injustice.
