A schoolboy drowned during physical education in Adygea

A criminal case has been opened in Adygea after the death of a boy born in 2017 during health and physical education rehabilitation. This was announced on October 7 in the press service of the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the republic on the VKontakte social network.

According to the information, on September 29, a 48-year-old resident of Adygeysk left a child in a bathtub filled with water during the procedure, as a result of which the boy drowned. The investigation found that the man systematically provided rehabilitation services for a fee. At the same time, he did not have the appropriate medical education and the necessary certificates.

A criminal case has been opened against the man under paragraph "b" of part 2 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life or health of consumers, resulting in the death of a person"). At the moment, the investigation is ongoing.

The latest case occurred in Krasnodar — a 14-year-old teenager drowned during rowing lessons.

In September, the body of a child washed away by a wave was found in the Sakhalin region. He was found without signs of life 20 m from the pier, while the strong waves of the sea make it difficult to get the body. The deceased turned out to be a minor born in 2013.
