Parents of a child who has experienced bullying at school can contact the school's management, the dispute resolution commission, the education committee, or the prosecutor's office. This was announced on October 7 by Evgeny Masharov, a member of the commission of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation.

"The child's legal representative may send an appeal to the school's management asking them not only to sort out the situation, but also to apply disciplinary measures to teachers...> contact the commission for the settlement of disputes between participants in educational relations; file complaints with the education committee or the prosecutor's office, call the juvenile affairs inspector and, if necessary, involve a school psychologist in solving the problem," Masharov said.

If the school does not take action, parents can go to court. This will require proof.: medical certificates, expert opinions, witness statements, audio and video recordings.

The expert stressed that parents should not ignore bullying, as it can negatively affect the emotional state, self-esteem and academic performance of the child. He also recalled the existence of instructions for teachers to stop aggressive behavior.
