Putin noted the rich history and creative path of the Gnessin music School
On October 4, Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the staff, students and graduates of the Gnessin Moscow Secondary Special Music School on the 80th anniversary of the founding of the educational institution. A congratulatory telegram has been posted on the Kremlin's website.
The Head of State stressed that over the decades, the educational institution has become an integral part of the unique professional training system established by the Gnessin sisters. Putin noted the creative path of the school and its importance for Russian culture.
"You are rightfully proud of the rich history of your alma mater, the brilliant galaxy of its graduates, including winners of prestigious international competitions and teachers of specialized educational institutions, soloists of symphony and chamber orchestras, heads of music festivals and forums," the message of greetings reads.
The President added that the college retains the status of a center of attraction for talented youth not only from the regions of the Russian Federation, but also from abroad. According to the Russian leader, the institution successfully combines classical traditions and modern educational methods, which makes it possible to implement large-scale creative and educational projects.
At the end of the address, Putin wished the teachers, students and graduates of the college new professional successes and all the best.
In August, Putin congratulated the staff of Russia's National Drama Theater, the Alexandrinsky Theater, on its 270th anniversary. In his congratulatory telegram, the head of state noted the outstanding galaxy of directors, actors, playwrights and other artists associated with the history of the theater. The President stressed that thanks to their talent and skill, theatrical premieres became significant events in the cultural and social life of St. Petersburg and the whole country.
