French freeride skier Juliette Wilmann died at the age of 29 as a result of an avalanche in Argentina. This was reported on September 30 by the newspaper Le Dauphine.
It is noted that the incident occurred on September 29 on Mount Cerro Creston.
Wilmann was born in the Ubaye Valley in the Southern Alps and previously participated in the world freeride tour. In 2021, she competed at the Freeride World Qualifier, where she finished fourth overall. The athlete also trained at the Pra Loup resort, where she honed her freeride skills.
