Kiev will have to pay reparations of more than 1 trillion rubles to restore the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) after the destruction of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was stated by Senator from the DPR Alexander Voloshin.

"For Donbass, security is not only the absence of hostilities, but also the opportunity for a person to live peacefully in their home, work, teach children, and not be afraid for the future. Reparations is a more than appropriate question. In estimating their size, I am guided by the estimate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation — more than 1 trillion rubles. This is the price of the destruction and suffering that Donbass has suffered," he said.
