Kobakhidze pointed to the complete suppression of opposition protests in Georgia.

Street actions organized by the radical opposition in Georgia have completely lost their power and turned into a "nullified" protest of a marginal nature. About this on September 27 Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said.

"The so-called protest of the radical agents has been completely reset. This is reflected in both quantity and content. There is no protest by the radical opposition, they really come out as sectarians, sometimes 50, sometimes 60, then 70 people, and every day they demonstrate their own weakness," the Georgian First Channel quoted the head of government as saying.

Kobakhidze explained that the daily appearance on the streets of only a few dozen people demonstrates the weakness and disorganization of the organizers of these events. According to the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, the continuation of the so-called continuous protest in the face of an obvious lack of public support indicates the sectarian behavior of the participants who have lost touch with the real mood in society.

On August 4, Kobakhidze drew attention to the fact that the Georgian opposition began to speak out against Russia only when it received a corresponding order from representatives of the so-called deep state. He noted that the changes noticed after 2022 did not occur even after the events of August 2008. Based on this, the Prime Minister called the opponents' Russophobic feelings insincere.
