The blogger first fought in the ring with a terminator robot in MMA

A humanoid robot controlled by an operator defeated blogger Frankie Lapenna in a mixed martial arts (MMA) match in San Francisco. This was announced by REK on September 21.

"We just made history by having the first "Human vs Terminator" robot fight. Frankie LaPenna gave his all," says a post on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

The fight took place on September 18 in the octagon. Lapenna performed in boxing gloves, helmet and protective gear. The blogger was able to land several blows on the robot, but it responded with powerful kicks and threw the opponent to the other end of the octagon. The fight ended with a technical knockout after a precise kick from the robot.

REK is developing a VR game in which operators control humanoid robots during duels. REK competitions combine remote control of robots and elements of a sports show, reports "Газета.Ru ".
