- A detainee for preparing a terrorist attack in the DPR agreed to work for the SBU for money
A Ukrainian curator has promised $10,000 to a detained Donetsk resident for committing a terrorist attack near a polling station on election day. This was announced on September 21 by the accused himself in a confession on a video distributed at the Public Relations Center of the Federal Security Service of Russia.
"I wrote to my supervisor that there would be women and children and peaceful people there [at the polling station]. He told me that it shouldn't bother me. "I'm paying you money, and the task must be completed." [The curator offered] $10 thousand. I needed money," said the defendant.
According to the detainee, he agreed to cooperate with the Ukrainian side because of the need for money. He said that at first he was asked to photograph objects for a reward, and then he was offered to arrange an explosion.
According to the detainee, he was also given money to buy supplies — gasoline and bolts, which were to be used as striking elements. After preparation, he was instructed to park a car near the polling station and remotely set off an explosive device on election day.
On that day, a local resident was detained in Donetsk, who, having conspired with employees of the Ukrainian special services, intended to commit a terrorist attack near a polling station during the State Duma elections there. The Russian citizen did not have time to implement the relevant plan, as he was promptly identified and detained by FSB officers.
