In the Rostov region, a freight train derailed. This was announced on September 20 by the press service of the Southern Transport Prosecutor's Office.

The incident occurred on a stretch between the Dvoyan and Yelmut stations of the North Caucasian Railway. As a result of the incident, no one was injured.

"The Salsk transport prosecutor is at the scene of the incident, the circumstances and causes of which are being established," the agency said in a Telegram channel message.
