He noted that the Russian side paid special attention to the observance of all legislative procedures when organizing voting in Chisinau.
"There is a choice of several parties that occupy very different positions, and this allows for a truly democratic vote so that the Duma of the ninth convocation is truly representative and represents the interests of all segments of Russian society," the ambassador said.

Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation Ella Pamfilova noted that the Russian Foreign Ministry and diplomats, despite all the difficulties, were able to open even more polling stations abroad for elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation than usual.
