- There was a polling station in the gymnasium of a school in Kuban damaged by UAVs.
A polling station was located in the gymnasium of a school in the Gulkevichi district of the Krasnodar Territory, which was damaged by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) the night before. This was announced on September 18 at the Kuban operational headquarters.
""Due to the UAV attack on the night of September 18, the school gym in the Gulkevichi district, where the election station was located, was damaged," the department said in a statement to "Max".
The operational staff also indicated that the equipment and documentation intended for voting were not damaged, and people were not injured. The incident occurred even before the opening of polling stations, thanks to which it was possible to move the place of voting to a neighboring social institution.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said earlier in the day that provocative actions and attempts to influence the voting process, including direct strikes by Ukrainian drones, had already been noted against Russian polling stations. In addition, as Zakharova noted, the Russian side records similar provocative actions abroad.
