Three people died in an accident with a moose in the Orel region.

In the Orel region, a car crashed into a moose, killing three people. This was reported on September 17 in the press service of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the region.

It is specified that the incident occurred on the highway Trosna — Kalinovka. The driver of a Skoda Octavia ran over a moose, after which the car drove off the road into a ditch.

The driver of the car and two female passengers, born in 1989 and 1999, were killed in the accident, TASS said.

In the Leningrad region, on the R-21 "Cola" highway on September 5, a fatal accident occurred involving a Kia Rio car and a moose, during which both the driver and the animal died. It was noted that the accident happened the day before at 21:50 on the 181st kilometer of the highway.
