The Russian army prevented a counterattack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces with tanks in the Kharkiv region

The Russian military disrupted the preparation of a counterattack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) using tanks in the area of Cossack Lopan, Kharkiv region. This was announced on September 15 by the Telegram channel "North Wind".

"The preparation of the enemy for a counterattack using armored vehicles has also been revealed. In the area of Zolochiv, a large concentration of forces of the 22nd infantry brigade [separate mechanized brigade] of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and three tanks were discovered, with which the enemy intended to attack the positions of the Northerners in the Cossack Lopan area," the publication says.

As a result of the FPV drone strikes, the tanks were destroyed, and the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffered losses. Also, according to the "North Wind", Russian aircraft and drone strike crews attacked concentrations of manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Martynovka, Chernoglazovka, Metallovka, Revolutsionnoye, Buzovo, Serdobino, Reznikovo, Proletarka, Grachevka and Sonino.

Units of the "North" group blocked two more battalions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

On September 13, Colonel Roman Shkroba, commander of the 71st Guards Motorized Rifle Division of the "North" group of troops of the Guard, noted that in September, Russian troops destroyed more than 300 Ukrainian Armed Forces militants who were surrounded in the Kharkiv region. Up to 10 battalions of enemy manpower remain blocked in the encirclement.
