- The expert said there was a shortage of medicines among the surrounded Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters in the Volchansk pocket.
The militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, trapped in the Volchansk pocket in the Kharkiv region, are experiencing a shortage of medicines, including painkillers. This was announced on September 13 by military expert Vitaly Kiselyov.
"The painkillers they use are the alcoholic beverages they managed to find in these settlements after they robbed the shops," Kiselyov told TASS.
According to him, Ukrainian militants use alcohol to reduce pain due to the lack of necessary medications.
Military expert Vadim Mingalev, in a conversation with "Izvestia" on September 7, said that in a pocket in the Kharkiv region there are remnants of two Ukrainian brigades that have no opportunity to retreat. He clarified that the command of the designated groups tried to leave the area surrounded by Russian military personnel, but his car was eliminated. Meanwhile, the militants are running out of food and supplies, which is demoralizing them.
