Putin concluded talks in India with a meeting with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi
Russian President Vladimir Putin held talks with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Khaled bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in New Delhi on September 12. The meeting was the seventh for the Russian leader in a two-day negotiation marathon.
Putin noted that over 55 years of diplomatic relations, the UAE has become one of the countries closest to Russia in the Middle East. According to the Russian leader, a lot has changed in the world and in relations between the two countries during this time.
The Russian President stressed that Russia maintains constant contact with the UAE on the conflict in the Persian Gulf, and expressed confidence that, despite all the difficulties of today, the situation will recover.
In addition, Putin asked to convey his best wishes to the President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Earlier, Putin held talks with the presidents of South Africa and Egypt, the prime ministers of India, Malaysia and Ethiopia, and the head of the New BRICS Development Bank.
