A resident of Kuzbass survived an electric shock of 10 thousand volts

In the Kemerovo region, doctors rescued a local resident who was electrocuted by 10,000 volts. This was reported on September 9 in the press service of the regional Ministry of Health.

"Prokopiev doctors saved a patient who received an electric shock of 10,000 volts. He was admitted to the orthopedic and surgical center of the city hospital in critical condition," the Telegram channel says.

According to the agency, the discharge passed through the patient's body from the head to the hand. As a result, he received thermal burns of I and II degrees, as well as a site of skin necrosis.

The doctors performed intensive therapy on the patient, as well as a comprehensive examination of the brain and chest organs. Now his condition is assessed as satisfactory, he can move independently.

On July 15, a 10-year-old boy died in Novosibirsk, who was electrocuted during a walk when he came into contact with one of the downpipes. A criminal case was opened into the incident in accordance with Part 1 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence").
