Novosibirsk reported on the serious condition of the victim in an accident with a minibus

One of the victims of the collision between a truck and a minibus in the Novosibirsk region is in extremely serious condition, several more people were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity. This was announced by the Minister of Health of the region, Rostislav Zablotsky, at an operational meeting in the regional government on September 7.

"All the injured were hospitalized in four medical institutions. <...> Two small children, aged five and six, are in the regional hospital, two teenagers— aged 16 and 17. The condition is of varying severity, from moderate severity to one extremely severe," TASS quoted Zablotsky as saying.

He stressed that doctors are doing everything possible to save the victims.

An accident involving a minibus and a truck happened on September 5. As a result, one person was killed and 12 others were injured, including two small children. According to the Izvestia source, the minibus driver was killed. There were ten children in the vehicle, and the minibus collided head-on with a truck. Medical assistance was provided to the children and other passengers in the cabin.

A criminal case was opened into the incident regarding a traffic violation that negligently resulted in the death of a person (Part 3 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
