In Moscow, a drunk man beat a pensioner with a frying pan because of a remark

In the northeast of Moscow, police officers detained a 33-year-old man who staged a brawl in a store and beat a pensioner with a frying pan. This was announced on September 1 in the press service of the Moscow headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

The incident occurred at a retail outlet on Zander Street. According to the agency, the previously convicted visitor was in a state of intoxication and loudly expressed obscenities. When the 63-year-old customer made a remark to the man, he grabbed a frying pan from the showcase and struck the elderly man several blows to the head.

The victim sought medical help. According to the doctors, the pensioner's health was slightly harmed.

A criminal case has been opened against the detainee under Part 2 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Intentional infliction of minor harm to health").

On August 3, in Kurgan, a man, under the influence of alcohol, attacked his one-year-old daughter and beat her to death. The child's mother was able to stop the drunk and called an ambulance. The girl was taken to the hospital in serious condition. Doctors did everything to save the child, but the injuries proved fatal.
