Mishustin emphasized the contribution of the coal industry to Russia's industrial sovereignty

The coal industry contributes to the strengthening of Russia's industrial sovereignty. This was announced on August 30 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin in a congratulatory message on Miner's Day.

"Today you are worthily continuing the traditions of your predecessors, making a significant contribution to the energy security of the state, strengthening its technological and industrial sovereignty, and export potential," he is quoted as saying on the government's website.

He noted that the government continues to pay special attention to the development of the industry. In addition, coal mining capacities are being increased in Russia, mines are being modernized, digital technologies, modern equipment and new working methods are being introduced.

Mishustin also stressed that the stable operation of the coal complex is ensured thanks to the professionalism and dedication of hundreds of thousands of industry specialists.
