At the time of the attack of a 16-year-old girl with a knife on two sisters in an apartment in Ufa, there were no adults at home. This was announced on August 17 by the Prosecutor's office of Bashkiria.

"In the absence of adults in one of the apartments of an apartment building <...> in Ufa, two 16-year—old girls had a conflict, as a result of which one of them stabbed her peer and her nine-year-old sister," the Telegram channel says.

After the incident, Deputy Prosecutor of the republic Andrey Markin and Acting prosecutor of the Kirovsky district of Ufa Denis Gafiyatullin left for the scene. They coordinate the actions of law enforcement agencies.

A knife attack on two underage sisters in Ufa became known earlier that day. As a result of the incident, girls aged nine and 16 were injured. The Investigative Committee of Russia for Bashkiria has opened a case on attempted murder.

The head of the Ministry of Health of Bashkiria, Airat Rakhmatullin, said that the eldest girl is now in extremely serious condition. However, the younger patient's condition is assessed as severe but stable. Doctors are providing both girls with all the necessary assistance.
