In Kazakhstan, there was a massive blackout in several regions
An emergency power outage occurred in several regions of Kazakhstan. This was announced on August 14 by the press service of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic.
"Currently, the system operator KEGOC JSC is carrying out the necessary restoration work, power supply has already been restored in a number of regions," the Telegram channel says.
The reason for the failure was a surge in power in the power grid, which arose due to a sharp change in the flow of electricity from the Central Asian energy system. The Ministry of Energy clarified that the situation is under control.
On August 5, Sputnik Georgia reported a complete power outage in all cities of Georgia. Due to a large-scale malfunction in the power system, the work of the metro in Tbilisi was stopped and the movement of trains by rail was stopped. Later, the electricity supply in Georgia was restored.
