Canadian "Christmas Story" actress Tedde Moore dies at 79

Canadian actress Tedde Moore has died at the age of 80. This was announced on August 10 by the Page Xix portal.

According to the newspaper, she died on August 5 in Huntsville surrounded by her family. At the same time, since 2009, the actress has been struggling with multiple sclerosis, but Moore's relatives have not revealed the exact cause of death.

Tedde Moore was born on April 11, 1947 in Toronto. She became widely known for her role as teacher Miss Shields in the film "The Christmas Story," for which the actress was nominated for the Gini Award for Best Supporting Actress. In 1994, she returned to this image in the sequel to the film and became the only actress who played in both parts.

Moore also starred in the projects "The Kennedy Clan", "Robocop: Basic Directives" and "Mistletoe over Manhattan". Her last screen work came out in 2017.
