Putin called for adapting the school curriculum to modern realities
In Russia, it is necessary to update school curricula taking into account modern realities and the development of technology. This was announced on August 11 by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting with students, graduate students and young scientists in Novosibirsk.
"Of course, we need appropriate training programs based on the real situation, starting from school," he said.
The Head of State added that elementary school students should learn to think and develop an interest in this process. According to him, this is not an easy task for the education system.
On August 8, Sergey Kravtsov, the head of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, announced that Russian schoolchildren would start studying according to the updated curriculum from September 1, changes in which were aimed at forming a unified educational space in the country.
