An explosion at a gold mine in Kamchatka killed a man and injured two others. This was announced on August 10 by the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Kamchatka Territory.

"According to preliminary information, one person was killed and two others were injured in the explosion at the Asachinskoye field," a message on the Maks messenger said.

According to the ministry, the victims are in serious but stable condition. They need to be evacuated, and the issue of moving to a medical facility by land or air is being resolved.
