The Russian brand UMO has revealed the prices and equipment of the new large crossover

The new full-size hybrid crossover UMO 8 will be offered in Russia in two trim levels at a price of 4.99 million and 5.49 million rubles, respectively, prices are based on state subsidies when buying on credit. The start of accepting pre-orders has been given, according to the press service of the Russian brand, which was received by Izvestia on August 7. Private buyers will receive their first cars in October.

The sequential hybrid powertrain in the UMO 8 develops 340 hp, while the tax is charged only on the total power of two electric motors — 122 hp. The total power reserve is 867 km. Acceleration to "hundreds" takes 6.7 seconds.

As standard, the UMO 8 offers an all-round viewing system, a set of electronic driver assistants, a multimedia system with a 15.6-inch screen, a panoramic roof, as well as heating, ventilation and massage of the front seats. Starting from the basic configuration, the extended winter package is included in the equipment (heated steering wheel, front and rear seats, windshield, windshield washer nozzles and exterior mirrors).

The flagship version additionally received a parking system, interior trim in nappa leather and suede, interactive matrix headlights with customizable animation, massage of the second row of seats, a 27-inch projection display and an audio system with 22 speakers with a total power of 1,640 watts.

All versions of UMO 8 are equipped with built-in Yandex services and the Alice AI assistant. You can use it to control navigation, music, and car functions by voice, for example, turn on seat massage and atmospheric lighting, open the sunroof, or cool the interior. Navigation can be displayed on a projection display, and remote voice control via Yandex Station using Home-to-Car technology is also provided.

The UMO 8 became the second model of the Russian brand after the electric UMO 5, which began assembly at the Moskvich plant in February. The SUV with the index 8 is based on the Chinese crossover GAC S7, which is currently offered in Russia at a price starting from 5.9 million rubles.
