The entire territory of Abkhazia was left without electricity due to the accident at the Inguri hydroelectric power station. This was announced on August 5 by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic.

"Abkhazia was left without electricity due to a systemic accident at the IngurGPP," the agency wrote on its Telegram channel.

Currently, specialists are engaged in restoring the power supply. Due to the lack of electricity in the cities and districts of Abkhazia, the water supply was also stopped.
