Kyrgyz carrier SkyFru performed the first flight from Bishkek to Domodedovo Airport

The Kyrgyz airline SkyFru performed the first scheduled flight on the Bishkek — Moscow route. The carrier's plane arrived at Moscow Domodedovo Airport. This was announced on August 5 by the Federal Air Transport Agency.

"The Kyrgyz carrier SkyFru, which is new to Russia, has completed its first scheduled flight. Today, the flight from Bishkek landed at Moscow Domodedovo Airport," the message in the Maks messenger says.

The Federal Air Transport Agency issued a permit for flights in this direction in July. SkyFru will operate flights between Bishkek and Moscow three times a week — on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

The carrier will use Boeing 737-300 aircraft. Departure from Domodedovo Airport is scheduled for 12:30 p.m., estimated travel time is about four hours. The first return flight from SkyFru Moscow to Bishkek was fully loaded: 147 passengers, including two children, checked in. The aircraft load was 100%.

A solemn welcome was organized for passengers of the first flight at Domodedovo Airport. At the reception, guests were treated to treats and the opportunity to take memorable photos with an ethnic ensemble in national costumes. The arriving plane was greeted with a traditional water arch.

After SkyFru's launch on the Bishkek — Moscow route, the route is served by five airlines: Russian Aeroflot and Ural Airlines, as well as Kyrgyz Avia Traffic, Aero Nomad Airlines and SkyFru.

On July 25, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the expansion of the geography of flights between Russia and Kazakhstan. According to the Russian president, the construction of a new international terminal was completed in Orenburg in June this year.
