The cause of actor Yasinsky's death was heart problems.

Actor Sergei Yasinsky, known for starring in the film "The Fate of the Drummer", died in Slovenian Maribor due to heart problems. This was announced on July 31 by his son Nikolai Yasinsky.

The actor's son said that his father moved to Slovenia more than 30 years ago. There he taught at a music school, gave concerts and was a parishioner of the local Orthodox church.

"Although he lived there and had dual citizenship, he was a true patriot of Russia. He repeatedly had to deal with Russophobia and defend the interests of our country," Yasinsky Jr. said in an interview with TASS.

Farewell to the artist will take place on August 4 at the city cemetery in Maribor.
