Tatiana Kim spoke about support measures for Wildberries sellers after the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacks

Wildberries marketplace has already conducted two tranches of support payments to sellers whose goods were damaged as a result of Ukrainian attacks on the company's infrastructure. About this on July 31 said Wildberries founder Tatiana Kim.

"While the system is being developed, we have already conducted two tranches of support payments to sellers whose goods were affected by the attacks. The second wave included almost 100,000 representatives of small and medium—sized businesses, many of whom have already received fees," the head of the company said.

Kim noted that Wildberries acts as a conduit for the interests of small and medium-sized businesses and she has already discussed with the Russian government comprehensive support measures, the general system of which will be announced in the coming days. For large partners, the marketplace introduced an increased discount for regular customers on their products at the company's expense, provided credit holidays at its own bank and a number of related benefits.

In addition, starting next week, the management of the platform plans to hold face-to-face meetings with businesses in the most affected regions to resolve problems on a point-by-point basis. At the same time, the company is actively rebuilding its logistics infrastructure and distributing goods to different warehouses to maintain delivery speed, as well as leasing dozens of new logistics facilities in Russia and abroad and preparing to launch its own facilities under construction in the countries of its presence.

Feasible warehouse: Wildberries froze the investment program in order to support sellers

The marketplace decided to focus on helping sellers affected by UAV attacks.

On July 30, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, at a meeting of the subcommittee on improving the stability of the financial sector and individual sectors of the economy, whose key issue was prompt assistance to Wildberries' sales partners, instructed to work out measures to support entrepreneurs affected by attacks on logistics complexes.

On July 29, the Wildberries press service reported that the company's logistics facility in Ryazan had been evacuated. On that day, the governor of the Ryazan region, Pavel Malkov, reported a fire on the territory of one of the region's enterprises as a result of a massive attack by enemy drones. Later, the press service added that the Ryazan marketplace warehouse was temporarily not accepting supplies, and the goods that were stored at the facility were temporarily withdrawn from sale.

The head of Wildberries, Tatiana Kim, promised on July 22 that small entrepreneurs whose goods were damaged in the attack on the warehouse in Elektrostal on July 18 would receive the first payments. The measure should cover about 88 thousand people. Kim called the safety of people the company's priority, adding that the attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces showed the coherence of the operational services.
