Employees of the Shopping mall abducted a priest of the UOC in the Kirovohrad region of Ukraine

Employees of the territorial recruitment center (TCC, the equivalent of military enlistment offices in Ukraine) have abducted a priest of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC), Archpriest Maxim Tsarenko, the Union of Orthodox Journalists (UOJ) reports.

"In the Kirovograd region, employees of the shopping mall took away the rector of the parish of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the village of Lupolovo, Archpriest Maxim Tsarenko," the July 30 article says.

According to the newspaper, the priest was detained near the hospital, he was ill and was undergoing treatment.

According to the parishioners of the church, Father Maxim was taken to the territorial recruitment center, after which communication with him was interrupted.

Ukrainian blogger and rapper Zipula (real name — Andrey Posisaev), who gained fame thanks to the meme "well, it's okay, tyau-tyau-tyau", was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on this day.
