Pashinyan announces the resignation of the Armenian government

The Armenian government will resign on Sunday in connection with the formation of a new National Assembly. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this on July 30.

According to him, the current meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers will be the last in its current composition. After the resignation of the government, the President of the country will appoint the candidate nominated by the parliamentary majority, the ruling Civil Contract party, as Prime Minister.

Pashinyan explained that the procedure is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the country's constitution.
