Mobile groups will be created in Kuban to protect enterprises from attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine

In the Krasnodar Territory, they intend to form mobile fire groups to protect critical infrastructure facilities and food security enterprises from attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was announced on July 29 in the regional administration following a meeting of the anti-terrorist commission and the operational headquarters, which was held by Governor Veniamin Kondratiev.

"One of the most effective ways to protect critical infrastructure facilities and businesses important to the economy is to create mobile firing groups. First of all, they should include employees of these organizations. They are signing a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense, but they are guaranteed not to be sent to their own zone, but will remain to protect the enterprises in which they work," the administration's website says.

They clarified that the regional authorities will pay 50 thousand rubles each month to the participants of such groups. The decision was made at a joint meeting of the anti-terrorist commission and the operational headquarters with the participation of Leonid Mikhailyuk, head of the regional department of the FSB, deputy heads of the region, heads of relevant ministries, heads of enterprises and municipalities.

Kondratiev also noted that the enemy is trying to strike civilian targets — industrial, agro-industrial and processing enterprises that are of strategic value to the economy. He stressed that the protection of food safety facilities is a common task of government and business.

On July 22, Kondratiev instructed to strengthen the anti-terrorist protection of civilian enterprises against the background of an increase in the number of attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on peaceful objects. He stressed that due to the security of critical facilities, the enemy switched to civilian infrastructure in order to destabilize the situation in the region. At the same time, those responsible were instructed to identify potential attack targets and study the experience of other regions.
